Celtic Sponsors Ice Fest

Polar explorer, Eric Larsen, hosted a fundraiser last night in his home town of Cedarburg, Wis. to raise money for his Save the Poles expedition. Eric is attempting to be the first person to reach the North Pole, South Pole and summit of Mt. Everest in a 365-day period.

The mission of his expedition is to educate people about these vast, frozen places, while heightening awareness about the negative impact of global warming.

Eric was greeted to a home-town crowd of more than 200 enthusiastic supporters who came to hear him speak about his Polar adventurers. In addition, party goers were treated to great food, music and silent auction. All-in-all, Eric raised more than $6,000 for his Save the Poles expedition.

Celtic was proud to sponsor last evening's event. We're also proud to call Eric a friend.
